Weekly Sessions...

Swim Squads:  In the seven lane Birkenhead Pool, catering for a range of abilities from the elite to first-time squad members.

Windtraining: The best thing about doing the bike classes is that you never get dropped. Sessions run for 90 minutes and are suitable for athletes of all age groups and abilities, great for cyclists, triathletes and general fitness enthusiasts. Class sizes range from 15 to 60 and are held all year round, program intensity is varied throughout the seasons to make sure everyone is in shape for the big races. Windtrainers are available for hire.

Brick Sessions: From May - October. This is "The Work Out" that prepares you for the summer tri season. A three hour session�of steady training with near race-speed transitions. It sounds nasty but with a big group you hardly feel like you've started before it's all over and you're sitting in the caf with a double shot latte.

Sea Swims: From October - April. Meets at Takapuna Boat Ramp for a swim along the cable buoys on Takapuna Beach.

FitForFun is the brainchild of New Zealand's Elite Triathlon Manager, Stephen Farrell. Stephen has over twenty-three years of triathlon experience, including a second placing in the New Zealand Ironman. The FitForFun crew also includes Multisport Bikes staff members Josh White and Tom Farr, as well as John Friary, Sue Dorman, Tristan Calwell and Mark Bone; check out the training sessions on offer and find a squad that suits you!
